What does StableHub actually check?
StableHub’s interactive Rug Risk Score v1 checker uses CoinGecko market data and Etherscan contract verification for Ethereum tokens. Automated token pages have additional token-age sources and raw top-10 Ethereum holder data where available. The methodology explains each workflow’s coverage.
Does a LOW rating mean a token is safe?
No. A lower rating describes fewer concerns in the checked signals; it cannot guarantee safety, predict price or rule out a future rug pull. Always read the evidence and its limitations.
Do I need to connect a wallet?
No. The checker starts with a public Ethereum token contract address. It does not require a wallet connection, private key or seed phrase.
Which blockchains does the checker support?
The interactive checker accepts Ethereum mainnet contract addresses. Token research pages also cover recognised native coins, but that does not imply full contract-risk coverage on every chain.
What happens if data or an assessment is unavailable?
An unavailable assessment should be shown as unavailable, never as a reassuring default risk rating. Missing signal data is distinct from a real zero or a failed check.
Are these token listings recommendations?
